The Mirabilé Vocal Ensemble of Nottinghamshire was founded by the late Joy Nicol and is now directed by Anthony Rose. All members of Mirabilé have varied musical backgrounds, choral and soloist experiences. Mirabilé perform an extensive classical female choral repertoire from the sixteenth to the twentieth centuries but also has a varied non-classical repertoire.
In July 2016 they won in the Female Ensemble category at the international Eisteddfod in Langollen. The Mirabilé Vocal Ensemble has been invited to perform in many prestigious venues in England such as the Albert Hall.
